Fansite Q&A Deadline Today – Blizzcast 08 Released!

Karune, the Blizzard Community Manager, recently sent out emails to various StarCraft fansites asking them for a list of 15 questions regarding StarCraft 2. However, no questions will be answered regarding single player or Battle.net 2.0, which is quite mean of Blizzard. Anyway, at least the fans get to ask whatever hard-hitting questions they like.

The deadline for submissions is today, so if you frequent a fansite that has been invited to participate, make sure you send your question proposals as soon as humanly possible.

When Karune has answered this epic batch of questions, we will let you know.

In other news, the new Blizzcast is out. Blizzcast 08 was released late yesterday and it has our good friend Dustin Browder on it. He doesn’t give us any new information, but he does allude to the upcoming beta.

You’ll also see some new authority for some of the bigger units in the game. Certainly the carriers have a much longer range than they’ve ever had before. It makes them a very powerful threat from the air in the end game. We should probably see more carriers used in higher level games but obviously will see how that goes in the beta.

Come on Blizzard, get that beta out!
