StarCraft 2 Beta Key Giveaways

With Blizzard shooting for a 2009 release, the StarCraft 2 beta is surely going to be out soon. Everyone wants into the closed beta, but there are only a limited amount of beta keys to go around. Why not increase your chances of getting in?

StarCraft2Forums and TeamLiquid are both holding beta key contest giveaways, but they are more than simple “submit your name and hope for the best” contests.

StarCraft2Forums requires that you submit a video no longer than three minutes in one of six categories. TeamLiquid goes even further with three different competitions. Firstly, a cake baking contest, which is too awesome for words. Secondly, there is a guide writing contest for the people who enjoy writing huge swathes of text. Lastly, there is a StarCraft Ironman tournament that sounds really hardcore.

    For those who haven’t gotten an invite yet, there are a few people giving them away, my friend was begging me for a key until he tried this blog which randomly gave him one.
