Starcraft 2 Release News

Fans are still waiting for Blizzard to announce any new release date news for the most anticipated game in the universe: Starcraft 2. Tensions are running high as fans hit back against the recent (and somewhat predicted) delay of the new Starcraft game.
Comments are littering Starcraft 2 fan sites all over the internet as the news-well has run dry and frustrations reach boiling point. We have been loyal fans for decades now, patiently waiting the arrival of Wings of Liberty, but we are not even treated to a projected date in 2010.
Fans are not happy at this absence of release news. There have been calls to ‘fight back’ against the emotional tyranny that Blizzard holds against us. We sit day after day and still no news comes of anything – not the release date, not the beta release date.
The Starcraft 2 community is becoming disillusioned with the whole situation. We want the game and we want it now – even if it is only the beta version. All that we can do now here at Starcraft2Mania is wait, and hope that one day soon we will hear some good news!
As if Blizzcon wasn’t enough of a tease!

Exactly what is it that you are blaming Blizzard for? The false release-date-rumors that others spread out into the world?
Blizzard has never issued any official statement concerning the release date. This especially means that they have never lied to the community like Ensemble Studios (R.I.P.) always used to do. It also means that Blizzard has not failed to meet any release date.
We should be thankful that Blizzard is making this game, and is making all possible efforts to make it a worthy successor to Starcraft 1.
Now do not accuse Blizzard for having let us know that they are working on this game, and telling us details about the progress. They never made any promise as to when this game would be completed. The rumors were false; what Blizzard said was not. (And do not hold Blizzard responsible for some inofficial remark that some Blizzard employee may have dropped in some small-talk at some event. What counts are only the official announcements, and as far as those are concerned, the Starcraft 2 FAQ states and has always stated that it is still too early even for an estimate (!) on the release date.
If you resort to believing in some false rumors, then that is your fault.

Actually they did say that the schedule for the game release was in late 2009 during E3Expo. That is why everyone is dissapointed

No, they did not officially announce that at Expo. Some Blizzard employee dropped an according remark, but that was inofficial. He stated what he expected, but he did not speak for the company.

ether way i been here what i believe at this point only to be rumors about this game for more then 3 years now. they technically been working on it for about 4 cent some time in 2006. and to be honest i can understand everyone fustiness on it at this point . like seriously how long dose it take. there so worry about live up to the ledge of the first one that there afraid to release any thing which make me start to think that the whole thing is a big hokes. i hate to break this to them but there isn’t much that can live up to the first one. it a class. and always will be . and i am at the point now where if they don;t release something soon. that in stone. then this whole project will in my mind turn in to another bilzard failler. just like ghost we all remember that whole frantically (the star-craft game then was said to be coming out and never did for the x box).. in my mind any game no expectations only take two year to make not four. remember they can always add extension later like they did for the original starcarft . and who said they only had to make one. do you guys see what i getting at. terran and protoss rumor have been done for sometime now. so why not release the game in section.. and stop with all this drama. cause we all know if this was a wow production. it be done in 3 month. lolo

Stop complaining, we should be just happy with the fact that starcraft 2 exists. and be tanksful for blizzard to bring the starcraft’s legacy back.
