Just a bit of useful information to prepare you for the release day, the last thing you want to do is rush out and buy the game and then it doesn’t run on your PC/Mac!

Minimum Requirements

Processor - 1.4 GHz Processor
Memory - 512 MB RAM

Graphics card - 128 MB RAM video card. Hardware TnL capable. DX10 not required, but is supported, Blizzard considering adding DX10 specific effects.
Pixel Shader 2.0

Soundcard - DirectX-compatible 16-bit sound card.
Operating System - Windows Vista, XP or Mac OS.
Connection - Battle.net – 28.8 Kbps or faster.
Multiplayer games - LAN require an active connection to a TCP/IP network.

Wide range of graphics card supported
ATI Radeon 9800,NVIDIA GeForce FXs, ATI Radeon HD 4800s,NVIDIA GeForce G200s to name a few.

For better game play on Starcraft 2 get a better graphics card! It influences game play more than processors etc.
